Ladies Night Out
The Heritage House's first event was a Ladie's Night Out for several friends and aquaintences. The event was, in a way, am mini "trade show", which featured several vendors twho we will be working with. We had one caterer and two personal chefs participate, each with their own unique style and food. Cindy King, with Catering by Cindy and Trolley Treats showcased a wonderful display of appetizers and unique treats for a wedding. Nancy Blackadar, with In Sisters Kitchen, provided a beautiful table with very creative, and healthy food. Sharon Watkins, a personal chef, has had a tremendous amount of experience feeding a crowd (both spiritually and physically) in her career as Methodist Minister. She created a wonderful table of scrumptious food! Karen Howard with Party time Rentals in Jasper was gracious to provide tables, chairs, linens and dishes. Judy, owner of Hometown Florist in Ellijay, provided some gorgeous arrangements, many of which were given away as door prizes. In addition, we had representatives from Pampered Chef and Southern Living at Home displaying their products. The evening was very successful and we hope to start a womens networking function in the future!
Local Color, A Spring Art Show
Featuring the work of Camille Day and Sheryl Holstein
The Heritage House was transformed into an art gallery for this show featuring two fabulous artists. Camille's work in pastel and oil paintings and Sheryl's pottery are perfect compliments to each other. It is truly amazing how the paintings and pottery work so well together. We opened the show with a reception to honor the artists. It was a fun evening with appetizers provided by The Heritage House. The guests were very complimentary of the artwork and both artists, not only sold several pieces, but also were asked to do commission work. We hope to showcase other Georgia artists in the future.

A Reception for Tom Graves
We were honored to be asked to cater a recent reception for Tom Graves who is running for congress in our district. The reception was held in a private home. We will post pictures soon.
