A beautiful log home for special weddings

Wedding celebrations are special and unique to each couple.  We offer an intimate setting which holds up to 100 guests.  A small venue you allows the bridal couple to be able to spend time with all of their guests.  We hope you will let The Heritage House be a part of your special day.

Destination Weddings
Celebrate with family and friends for a weekend.

Destination weddings are have been gaining popularity over the past few years, especially for smaller celebrations.

Besides the wedding there are all kinds of things to do in our area.  Shops and restaurants abound in both Ellijay, East Ellijay and Blue Ridge.  Gilmer County is known for our outdoor activities.  We have been designated as the Mountain Biking Capital of Georgia.  There are wonderful hiking trails along with plenty of kayaking, canoeing and tubing.  Carter's Lake is a short drive away for fishing and boating.  Whitepath Golf Course offers 18 holes with wonderful views.

The Heritage House can help with planning activities and making sure that your guests are aware of what there is to do.

In addition to weddings and receptions we can also host rehearsal dinners and bridesmaid's luncheons.  If the bride wants to spend time with her bridal party getting ready for the wedding we can arrange to have a hair stylist and nail technician come here.  Brunch or lunch and snacks can also be available.

We are partnering with Sliding Rock Cabins and KZ Cabins, both of who have a variety of cabins that can be used for lodging.  Many are just a short drive away and some have several close enough that your guests can walk between cabins.  There are also two hotels within a 5 minute drive.  You might even find a special cabin for your honeymoon!
